Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to align with demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targets.
  • Monitor material availability and coordinate with procurement, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to resolve shortages or excesses.
  • Analyze production capacity and lead cross-functional efforts to optimize resource allocation and throughput.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles and ERP systems like SAP.
  • Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turns, and production attainment.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and logistics teams to mitigate risks and support new product introductions (NPIs).
  • Ensure compliance with Honeywell's safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all planning activities.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar planning software (experience)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in demand forecasting and capacity planning (experience)
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration (experience)
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, or high-tech manufacturing industries (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage master production schedules using MRP systems to meet customer delivery requirements
  • Balance supply and demand by analyzing sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capabilities
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material replenishment and resolve supply disruptions
  • Lead material requirement planning (MRP) processes and execute purchase requisitions as needed
  • Monitor production performance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency
  • Support inventory control strategies to minimize excess stock while avoiding stockouts
  • Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings to align planning with business objectives
