Key Responsibilities

  • Operate automated manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, robotic assembly lines, and conveyor systems, ensuring seamless production flow.
  • Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on production machinery to prevent breakdowns and reduce unplanned downtime by at least 20%.
  • Apply lean manufacturing techniques, such as 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mapping, to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct quality inspections using precision tools and statistical process control (SPC) methods to verify products meet Honeywell's ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
  • Monitor production metrics via SCADA and MES systems, analyzing data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and quality assurance, to resolve technical issues and support new product introductions.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and hazardous materials handling.

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in automated manufacturing or production environments (experience)
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting industrial machinery such as CNC, robotics, or assembly lines (experience)
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) (experience)
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and perform basic electrical/mechanical diagnostics (experience)
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • City & Guilds or equivalent certification in industrial maintenance or mechatronics (experience)
  • Experience with Honeywell or similar MES/SCADA systems (experience)
  • Previous exposure to aerospace or high-precision manufacturing sectors (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate automated production lines, monitoring performance and making real-time adjustments to maintain output targets
  • Execute preventive maintenance schedules and rapid fault diagnosis to achieve >95% equipment uptime
  • Implement lean tools to eliminate waste, streamline workflows, and support kaizen events for process optimization
  • Perform in-process and final quality checks using calipers, CMMs, and digital inspection tools to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Document production data, deviations, and improvements in digital logs and ERP systems for traceability and reporting
  • Assist in equipment setups for new production runs and participate in root cause analysis using 8D methodology
  • Train junior technicians and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the team
