Key Responsibilities

  • Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to meet daily production targets.
  • Assemble components and products according to detailed work instructions, blueprints, and quality standards.
  • Perform quality inspections on finished goods, identifying and reporting defects or deviations to maintain Honeywell's rigorous standards.
  • Load and unload materials, manage inventory, and maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with 5S methodologies.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, PPE usage, and participation in safety audits.
  • Record production data accurately using digital tools or manual logs to support lean manufacturing initiatives.

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality record (experience)
  • Authorization to work in the United States (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational training or certification in manufacturing, machining, or assembly (experience)
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies (experience)
  • Forklift operation certification (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate production machinery, including presses, conveyors, and assembly tools, to produce components at specified rates
  • Assemble and test products using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Conduct in-process and final quality checks, documenting results and escalating non-conformances per Honeywell quality management system
  • Maintain accurate production records, including cycle times, yields, and downtime, using ERP systems like SAP
  • Participate in daily team huddles to review goals, address bottlenecks, and suggest kaizen improvements
  • Follow all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations, completing required training and reporting hazards immediately
  • Support material handling tasks, such as kitting parts and staging inventory for just-in-time production
