Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)

In this role, you will partner with Integrated Program Teams (IPTs) to develop comprehensive program plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and data-driven insights that enable strategic decision-making. Reporting to the Senior Program Controls Manager, you will work from our state-of-the-art Phoenix, AZ facility on a hybrid schedule. Note: New hires must commit to 100% onsite work (Monday-Friday) for the first 90 days to ensure a smooth onboarding and team integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with IPTs to create detailed program plans, WBS, and baselines using industry-standard tools like Microsoft Project and Deltek Cobra.
  • Analyze program data, generate reports, and provide actionable metrics to support informed decision-making and risk mitigation.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance program controls efficiency and compliance with EVMS (Earned Value Management System) standards.
  • Assign resources and budgets to work scopes, tracking performance through earned value methods and variance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time visibility into program health, cost, schedule, and performance indicators.
  • Support audits, program reviews, and customer deliverables with precise data analysis and documentation.

Summary

  • Proficiency in EVMS standards (ANSI/EIA-748) and tools such as Deltek Cobra, Empower, or Primavera (experience)
  • Demonstrated experience developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) (experience)
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data for executive reporting (experience)
  • Experience with government contracting and DCAA/DCAMS compliance (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Project Management or related field (experience)
  • PMP, PMI-SP, or EVMP certification (experience)
  • Experience with Honeywell or similar ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain program baselines, including WBS, IMS, and resource-loaded schedules for IPT alignment
  • Perform earned value analysis, including CPI/SPI calculations, variance reporting, and forecast predictions
  • Generate executive-level dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau to visualize program metrics
  • Conduct risk assessments, identify schedule/cost variances, and recommend corrective actions to program leadership
  • Facilitate IPT meetings, resource allocation, and budget tracking to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Drive process improvements in program controls, implementing best practices for efficiency and compliance
  • Support program reviews, customer audits, and contract deliverables with accurate data and documentation
