In this role, you will partner with Integrated Program Teams (IPTs) to develop comprehensive program plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and data-driven insights that enable strategic decision-making. Reporting to our Senior Program Controls Manager, you will work from our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid schedule. New hires must commit to 100% onsite work (Monday-Friday) for the first 90 days to ensure a smooth onboarding and team integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with IPTs to create and maintain detailed program plans, WBS, and schedules using industry-standard tools.
  • Analyze program data, generate reports, and provide actionable metrics to support informed decision-making.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance program controls efficiency and compliance.
  • Assist in resource allocation, budget assignment to work scopes, and application of Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies.
  • Monitor program performance, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver presentations on program status to leadership and stakeholders.

Summary

Join a team of Program Control Specialists that provide program analysis, process improvement, and metrics for Honeywell. You will partner with an Integrated Program Team (IPT), assisting them in developing program plans, Work-Breakdown-Structure (WBS), and analyzing data to help make informed and strategic decisions, using data and reports. You will gain insights and experience with other Program Control Specialist responsibilities such as assigning resources/budgets to work scope and earned value methods. You will report to our Sr Program Controls Manager and work from our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid basis. For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

  • Proven experience with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), and Earned Value Management (EVM) (experience)
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and generate reports (experience)
  • Experience working with Integrated Program Teams (IPTs) or cross-functional stakeholders (experience)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (experience)
  • PMP, PMI-SP, or EVMP certification (experience)
  • Experience with Deltek Cobra, SAP, or similar ERP systems in a program management context (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with IPTs to develop and baseline program plans, WBS, and integrated master schedules
  • Perform data analysis on program metrics, variances, and trends to provide strategic insights and forecasts
  • Apply Earned Value Management techniques to track cost, schedule, and performance against baselines
  • Assign resources and budgets to work packages, ensuring alignment with program objectives
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance program control efficiency and compliance
  • Generate and present executive-level reports, dashboards, and risk assessments
  • Support audits, program reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
