Overview

As a Program Manager at Honeywell, you will lead complex, high-impact programs across our aerospace or building technologies portfolios. Reporting to the Director of Program Management, you will oversee end-to-end program execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, customer requirements, and financial targets. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, including scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and resource allocation for multi-million-dollar projects.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver programs on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage customer relationships, conduct regular reviews, and negotiate contracts to ensure program success and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and mitigate risks using advanced tools like earned value management (EVM) and critical path analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes and enhance program performance.
  • Report program status to senior leadership through executive dashboards and KPIs, influencing strategic decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as FAA, AS9100, and Honeywell's quality management systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related technical field (experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management within aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or high-tech industries (experience)
  • Proven track record managing complex programs with budgets exceeding $5M (experience)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification (experience)
  • Experience with program lifecycle management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or Jira (experience)
  • Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management (EVM) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (experience)
  • Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace or building automation sectors with knowledge of FAA/EASA regulations (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Define program objectives, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with Honeywell's strategic goals and customer contracts
  • Assemble and lead diverse, cross-functional teams to execute program tasks efficiently and resolve blockers proactively
  • Monitor program performance using KPIs, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery
  • Facilitate stakeholder communications, including executive briefings, customer demos, and issue resolution meetings
  • Manage program budgets, track costs, and optimize resource allocation to achieve profitability targets
  • Drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies like IoT, AI, and digital twins into program roadmaps
  • Conduct post-program reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future program methodologies
