Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle for engine control systems, from requirements gathering to verification and validation.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans using tools like MS Project or Primavera.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to integrate hardware, software, and firmware components seamlessly.
- Conduct design reviews, failure mode analysis (FMEA), and ensure compliance with DO-178C and DO-254 standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to meet milestones.
- Generate technical documentation, including test plans, reports, and certification artifacts for FAA/EASA approval.

- Familiarity with aerospace standards such as ARP4754A, ARP4761, and RTCA/DO standards (experience)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or Project Management (experience)
- PMP or similar project management certification (experience)
- Experience with Full Authority Digital Engine Controls (FADEC) or similar systems (experience)
- Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink for control system modeling (experience)
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end engineering projects for engine control systems, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and regulatory standards
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with program managers and technical leads
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget tracking using industry-standard tools
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute design, development, integration, and testing phases of engine control projects
- Perform risk assessments, mitigation planning, and change management to address technical and schedule challenges
- Facilitate design reviews, gate reviews, and customer demonstrations to secure approvals and stakeholder buy-in
- Prepare and present project status reports, lessons learned, and continuous improvement recommendations
