Reporting directly to the Sr. Facilities Management Supervisor, you will be based at our state-of-the-art Kanata, ON facility, working on-site to ensure seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end project life cycles, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, finance, and operations to align project objectives with organizational goals.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency, risk mitigation, and resource allocation using lean methodologies and data-driven insights.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk registers using industry-standard tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings, provide status updates, and facilitate issue resolution to maintain project momentum.
  • Ensure compliance with Honeywell's safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and environmental standards across all facilities projects.
  • Mentor junior project coordinators and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management frameworks within the team.

Summary

  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously with budgets exceeding $500K (experience)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent (experience)
  • Experience with facilities infrastructure projects including HVAC, electrical, and building automation systems (experience)
  • Strong understanding of Canadian building codes, OSHA standards, and environmental regulations (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Project Management or Engineering (experience)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean certification (experience)
  • Experience with Honeywell or similar Fortune 100 company projects (experience)
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete project lifecycle for facilities upgrades and expansions, including scope definition, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement
  • Develop and track project budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures to ensure financial targets are met
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of process improvements, reducing project timelines by at least 10%
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for high-impact facilities projects
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level project reports, dashboards, and presentations using tools like MS Power BI
  • Coordinate vendor and contractor activities to ensure on-site compliance and quality deliverables
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project data and recommending best practices
