Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and report on internal and supplier quality audits to verify adherence to quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze audit findings, identify non-conformances, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to enhance process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to implement quality improvements and mitigate risks.
  • Maintain detailed audit documentation and metrics, ensuring traceability and compliance with Honeywell's global quality policies.
  • Conduct training sessions on quality standards and best practices for employees and suppliers.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Support external audits and certifications, acting as a key liaison with regulatory bodies and certification agencies.

  • 5+ years of experience in quality auditing, assurance, or inspection within the aerospace or manufacturing industry (experience)
  • Proven knowledge of quality standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP (experience)
  • Experience conducting internal and supplier audits with a track record of driving corrective actions (experience)
  • Familiarity with aerospace regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA) and quality tools like FMEA and APQP (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Quality Management or related field (experience)
  • Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Lead Auditor certification from ASQ or IRCA (experience)
  • Experience with Honeywell's quality management systems or similar Fortune 100 aerospace environments (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Independently plan and perform comprehensive internal audits across manufacturing processes, supply chain, and support functions to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Identify root causes of quality issues using structured methodologies like 8D, fishbone diagrams, and 5 Whys, and develop actionable improvement plans
  • Lead audit debriefs and follow-up activities, tracking implementation of corrective actions to closure
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate quality requirements into design and manufacturing processes
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management, highlighting trends and opportunities for enhancement
  • Facilitate supplier quality assessments and performance reviews to maintain a robust supply chain
  • Champion continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma tools, targeting defect reduction and process optimization
