- Proven track record of developing and commercializing new materials or technologies (experience)
- Experience with laboratory techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, and materials characterization (experience)
- Strong publication record or patents in relevant scientific domains (experience)
- Ability to work in a hybrid international environment with occasional travel (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. with post-doctoral experience in nanomaterials or sustainable technologies (experience)
- Experience with Honeywell or similar Fortune 100 R&D environments (experience)
- Certifications in Six Sigma, ISO standards, or project management (PMP) (experience)
Responsibilities
- Design and execute experimental plans to develop advanced polymers, composites, or sensor materials for high-performance applications
- Lead multidisciplinary R&D teams in prototyping and testing innovative solutions under tight timelines
- Analyze complex datasets using statistical tools and machine learning to optimize material properties
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to integrate R&D outputs into product development pipelines
- Conduct risk assessments, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards (e.g., REACH, FAA)
- Mentor junior scientists and interns while contributing to Honeywell's innovation pipeline
- Document results in technical reports and support intellectual property filings
