Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical consultations to sales teams, demonstrating Honeywell's smart metering, SCADA systems, and IoT-enabled water management solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, configure proof-of-concept setups, and deliver customized technical proposals tailored to customer needs in energy and water utilities.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues, analyze system performance data, and recommend optimizations using Honeywell's Forge platform and analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, product management, and field services to ensure seamless solution deployment and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops for sales staff and end-users on smart energy and water technologies.
  • Monitor market trends in renewables, smart grids, and water infrastructure to identify new opportunities and support competitive positioning.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven track record supporting sales in smart energy, smart grid, or water management solutions (experience)
  • Hands-on experience with SCADA systems, PLC programming, or IoT platforms (experience)
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% and work in a hybrid model (experience)
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (German, French, Spanish) preferred (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration (experience)
  • Certifications such as Certified SCADA Security Architect (CSSA), Cisco IoT, or Honeywell-specific training (experience)
  • Experience with AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) or water distribution SCADA systems (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical expertise during sales cycles, including solution architecture design and ROI calculations for smart energy and water projects
  • Perform system integrations and validations using Honeywell's Experion PKS or connected plant solutions
  • Analyze customer data to recommend tailored automation strategies for grid stability and water leak detection
  • Support sales win strategies by creating compelling technical documentation, whitepapers, and case studies
  • Resolve escalated technical support tickets from clients, ensuring 99% uptime for deployed solutions
  • Partner with sales to qualify leads and develop competitive bids against rivals like Siemens or Schneider Electric
  • Contribute to product feedback loops by gathering field insights to influence R&D roadmaps
