Key Responsibilities

  • Design and engineer comprehensive security solutions for building automation systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and intrusion detection.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify threats in physical and cyber-physical security environments.
  • Develop and integrate custom software configurations using Honeywell's proprietary platforms like Pro-Watch and WIN-PAK.
  • Lead installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of security systems across international sites.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with HVAC, lighting, and other building systems.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and local regulations like DIN EN 50131.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to end-users and field teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related technical field (experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in security systems engineering for buildings or industrial environments (experience)
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing physical security solutions (access control, CCTV, alarms) (experience)
  • Hands-on experience with building automation systems (BAS) and integration protocols (experience)
  • Fluency in English; German proficiency highly advantageous for European projects (experience)
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Security Engineering or related discipline (experience)
  • Professional certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional), CISSP, or vendor-specific (Honeywell, Genetec) (experience)
  • Experience with cybersecurity in OT environments (IEC 62443) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Architect scalable security infrastructures tailored to client specifications and regulatory requirements
  • Perform system modeling, simulation, and optimization using tools like AutoCAD and security management software
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams in the deployment of integrated security and building technology solutions
  • Conduct thorough testing, including penetration testing and failover scenarios, to validate system reliability
  • Analyze incident data to recommend enhancements and preventive measures
  • Document designs, configurations, and procedures for knowledge transfer and compliance audits
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with sales teams on solution proposals
