We are seeking a dynamic Senior Account Manager (Gas Systems) to join our Gas & Flame Detection business unit. Based in the UK with international scope, this hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from home and client sites across your assigned region. You will be the driving force behind developing, growing, and owning the order quota for our Gas Products and Solutions portfolio, including Stations & Skids, Regulators & Metering, and Gas Quality systems. Target key sectors like Gas Distribution, Midstream, and Upstream to deliver innovative solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability in the energy industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue in Gas Distribution, Midstream, and Upstream markets.
  • Own and achieve quarterly and annual order quotas for Gas Products and Solutions.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers in target accounts.
  • Conduct technical consultations and demonstrations of Honeywell’s gas systems portfolio.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and sales support to deliver customized solutions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and present business cases, proposals, and contracts to secure multimillion-dollar deals.

Summary

We have an opportunity for a Senior Account Manager (Gas Systems) to join us at Honeywell, in the UK, where you will be responsible to develop, drive and grow the Gas Distribution /Midstream/Upstream business in the assigned region/territory. You will be the primary owner of the orders quota for Gas Products and Solutions (Station & Skids, Regulators & Metering, Gas Quality).

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience in oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors, with proven quota attainment (experience)
  • Deep knowledge of gas distribution, midstream, and upstream processes and technologies (experience)
  • Demonstrated success managing large enterprise accounts and complex sales cycles (experience)
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% within assigned territory (experience)
  • Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Engineering (experience)
  • Certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or industry-specific credentials in gas systems (experience)
  • Experience with Honeywell or similar industrial automation products (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement territory sales strategies to expand market share in Gas Distribution, Midstream, and Upstream segments
  • Own full sales cycle from lead generation and opportunity qualification to negotiation and contract closure for Gas Products including Stations & Skids, Regulators & Metering, and Gas Quality solutions
  • Build executive-level relationships and conduct needs assessments to position Honeywell as the preferred partner
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to customize solutions meeting client specifications and regulatory standards
  • Track and forecast sales pipeline using CRM tools, achieving or exceeding order quotas consistently
  • Analyze competitive landscapes and market intelligence to recommend pricing, positioning, and new business opportunities
  • Represent Honeywell at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events to enhance brand visibility
