- Hands-on experience with electrical testing, debugging, and validation using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and environmental chambers (experience)
- Strong knowledge of industry standards including IPC, UL, FCC, and aerospace-specific regulations (experience)
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required due to ITAR and export control compliance (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering with focus on power electronics or embedded systems (experience)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or certifications such as Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) (experience)
- Experience with high-reliability systems for avionics, automotive, or renewable energy applications (experience)
Responsibilities
- Architect and design high-performance electrical systems, including analog/digital circuits, power supplies, and RF/microwave components
- Conduct feasibility studies, trade analyses, and worst-case circuit analysis to mitigate risks early in the design cycle
- Develop and execute test plans for hardware validation, including thermal, vibration, and EMI/EMC testing
- Lead design reviews and failure mode analysis (FMEA) to ensure robust, reliable solutions
- Integrate firmware and software with electrical hardware, supporting real-time embedded applications
- Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing teams to optimize designs for producibility and cost
