Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate high-fidelity dynamic process simulation models using tools like Aspen HYSYS, UniSim, or custom OTS platforms for real-time operator training and process optimization.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams in executing OTS projects from conceptual design through commissioning, ensuring alignment with client specifications and regulatory standards.
- Perform advanced simulations to predict process behavior under transient conditions, troubleshoot deviations, and recommend control strategy improvements.
- Integrate simulation models with digital twins, PLC/SCADA systems, and AI-driven analytics to deliver scalable, predictive solutions.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for operators and engineers, leveraging simulation insights to enhance plant performance and safety protocols.

- Proven track record leading simulation projects in industrial sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, or power (experience)
- Hands-on expertise with simulation software including Aspen HYSYS Dynamics, UniSim Design, or AVEVA/SimSci tools (experience)
- Strong understanding of process control systems (DCS/PLC) and their integration with simulation environments (experience)
- Experience with model validation, tuning, and commissioning in real-world plant environments (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering or Process Simulation (experience)
- Certifications such as Aspen HYSYS Advanced Process Modeling or equivalent (experience)
- Experience with digital twin technologies, machine learning for process modeling, or emulator-based OTS (experience)
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize dynamic simulation models for OTS, including unit operations, control loops, and safety systems
- Lead the full lifecycle of simulation projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-commissioning support
- Analyze process data to build accurate hybrid models combining first-principles and empirical approaches
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulations with Honeywell's Forge platform and IoT solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct operator training programs using immersive simulation environments
- Identify and implement process improvements through scenario analysis and what-if studies
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., API, IEC) and contribute to continuous improvement of simulation methodologies
