Senior Channel Sales Representative

Location: Remote (Northeast United States) | Reports to: Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute channel sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets across assigned territories.
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with channel partners, distributors, and resellers to maximize joint business opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by conducting market analysis, partner enablement sessions, and joint go-to-market planning.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and deal closures while ensuring compliance with Honeywell's legal and commercial guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and technical support, to deliver customized solutions that meet partner and end-customer needs.
  • Monitor channel performance metrics, provide forecasting reports, and implement corrective actions to optimize partner productivity.
  • Mentor junior sales representatives and conduct training programs to enhance channel partner capabilities in selling Honeywell products.

  • Experience leading contract negotiations and deal closures valued at $500K+ annually (experience)
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems such as Salesforce and channel management tools (experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 25% within the Northeast region for partner meetings and events (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) (experience)
  • Certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Honeywell Partner Program accreditation (experience)
  • 7+ years of experience in selling industrial IoT, automation, or safety solutions through channels (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by developing and executing multi-year channel partner business plans aligned with Honeywell's strategic objectives
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with tier-1 partners through regular business reviews, joint marketing initiatives, and performance incentives
  • Prospect and onboard new channel partners by identifying high-potential resellers in the Northeast market
  • Negotiate and finalize complex agreements, including volume commitments, rebates, and market development funds
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast pipeline, identify risks, and recommend optimization strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and support teams to co-create partner enablement programs and sales collateral
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as partner revenue, mindshare, and customer satisfaction to senior leadership
