This hybrid position offers flexibility with a mix of remote and on-site collaboration at our international hubs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and negotiate complex commercial contracts, including terms for pricing, delivery, warranties, and intellectual property rights for aerospace and industrial products.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in contract lifecycle management, from inception through execution, closeout, and post-contract performance analysis.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to craft winning commercial proposals and pricing models that maximize profitability.
  • Mitigate commercial risks by conducting thorough due diligence, identifying potential liabilities, and implementing robust mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, engineering, and sales teams to align contract terms with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes, leveraging data analytics to enhance contract performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Honeywell in high-level customer negotiations and supplier discussions to secure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.

  • Proven track record in negotiating high-value international contracts and managing commercial risks (experience)
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks including ITAR, EAR, and international trade compliance (experience)
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle for contract and financial management (experience)
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25% as needed (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Juris Doctor (JD) (experience)
  • Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or similar professional certification (experience)
  • 10+ years in aerospace industry with exposure to government contracting (FAR/DFARS) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including MSAs, SOWs, and supply contracts to ensure alignment with Honeywell's strategic goals
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support pricing strategies and profitability targets in bids and proposals
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial, legal, and operational risks across the contract portfolio
  • Collaborate with global sales and program teams to develop customer-specific commercial solutions and resolve disputes
  • Monitor contract performance metrics, generate reports, and recommend optimizations for revenue growth
  • Ensure compliance with export controls, anti-corruption laws (FCPA), and industry standards
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of commercial best practices
