Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and champion Honeywell's enterprise-wide AI strategy, aligning it with business objectives in automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent systems.
  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and deployment of AI technologies, including machine learning, generative AI, and edge computing solutions.
  • Oversee a team of AI architects, data scientists, and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Partner with C-suite executives and business unit leaders to prioritize AI roadmaps and secure executive buy-in for high-impact projects.
  • Drive AI governance, ethics, and compliance frameworks to ensure responsible AI deployment at scale.
  • Measure and report on AI initiative ROI, optimizing portfolios for sustained growth and competitive advantage.

  • 10+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science, with at least 5 years in a leadership role directing AI strategy (experience)
  • Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale AI transformations in a Fortune 500 or equivalent organization (experience)
  • Deep expertise in AI technologies including deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and generative AI frameworks (experience)
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and budgets exceeding $5M in technology initiatives (experience)
  • Strong understanding of industrial applications of AI in sectors like aerospace, manufacturing, or energy (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or a related field (experience)
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, or equivalent (experience)
  • Prior experience in a global conglomerate with exposure to regulated industries (e.g., FAA, FDA compliance) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute Honeywell's multi-year AI transformation roadmap, prioritizing high-value use cases across business units
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable AI platforms, integrating with Honeywell Forge and IoT ecosystems
  • Build and mentor high-performing AI teams, including hiring top talent and establishing centers of excellence
  • Collaborate with R&D, product, and operations leaders to prototype and deploy AI-driven solutions like anomaly detection and optimization algorithms
  • Establish AI ethics policies, risk management frameworks, and data governance standards enterprise-wide
  • Drive partnerships with AI vendors, academia, and startups to accelerate technology adoption and innovation
