Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on Honeywell control systems, PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation equipment at customer sites.
  • Lead on-site installations, commissioning, and upgrades of complex automation systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project timelines.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using specialized tools and software to resolve issues efficiently and restore operations.
  • Train customer operators and junior technicians on system operation, maintenance best practices, and Honeywell product features.
  • Document service activities, generate detailed reports, and recommend spare parts or system improvements to enhance reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, sales, and customers to identify opportunities for system optimization and new business development.
  • Ensure adherence to Honeywell safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards such as ISO 9001 and ATEX.

  • Proven track record of troubleshooting and repairing PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems in field environments (experience)
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally (experience)
  • Strong safety focus with knowledge of OSHA, ATEX, or equivalent standards (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline (experience)
  • Honeywell certifications (e.g., Experion PKS, Safety Manager, or TDC 3000) (experience)
  • Experience with aerospace or building automation systems (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed site assessments and perform root cause analysis on malfunctioning control systems to implement effective solutions
  • Install and commission Honeywell hardware and software, integrating with existing customer infrastructure
  • Execute planned maintenance schedules and emergency repairs to achieve 99%+ system uptime for clients
  • Mentor junior technicians and deliver technical training sessions to customer staff
  • Prepare comprehensive service reports, including failure analysis and recommendations for preventive measures
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to support product upgrades and custom engineering solutions
  • Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and calibration equipment while adhering to budget constraints
