Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site installations and commissioning of complex systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and compliance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues using Honeywell proprietary tools and diagnostic software, minimizing downtime for mission-critical operations.
  • Train customer personnel on system operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols to enhance client self-sufficiency.
  • Document all service activities, generate detailed reports, and collaborate with engineering teams to recommend system improvements and upgrades.
  • Manage travel logistics, inventory of spare parts, and compliance with safety regulations during frequent domestic trips (up to 80% travel).
  • Respond to emergency service calls 24/7, providing rapid resolution to maintain operational continuity for Honeywell's high-profile clients.

  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial control networks (experience)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively (up to 80%) across the US (experience)
  • Strong safety record and familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, and industry-specific regulations (experience)
  • Experience with Honeywell or similar vendor equipment (e.g., Experion, Centra, or TDC systems) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field (experience)
  • Honeywell OEM certifications (e.g., Field Service Professional, DCS Certified) (experience)
  • Military veteran with avionics or electronics maintenance experience (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough on-site diagnostics and repair of complex electromechanical systems using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and proprietary Honeywell software
  • Install and configure control panels, sensors, and networking components for new system deployments
  • Perform root cause analysis on system failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Collaborate remotely with Honeywell engineering, sales, and support teams to resolve escalated issues
  • Maintain accurate service records in Honeywell's CRM system and prepare technical reports for customers
  • Ensure all fieldwork adheres to Honeywell safety standards and local regulations
  • Mentor junior technicians and provide training sessions for end-users
