This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work 3 days per week in our modern Ratingen office and 2 days remotely, enabling you to balance professional excellence with personal well-being. As a key member of our HR team, you will partner with business leaders to drive employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness in a dynamic international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for managers and employees at the Ratingen site, providing expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment processes, including talent sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding to attract top-tier professionals aligned with Honeywell's high standards.
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives such as training programs, succession planning, and diversity & inclusion strategies to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Ensure compliance with German labor laws (e.g., ArbZG, Tarifverträge) and Honeywell global policies, conducting audits and managing payroll and benefits administration.
  • Analyze HR metrics using tools like Workday to provide data-driven insights on turnover, engagement, and workforce planning, recommending actionable improvements.
  • Facilitate change management during organizational shifts, supporting mergers, restructurings, or new product launches with proactive employee communications.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with global HR teams and site leadership to align local practices with Honeywell's One Honeywell strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience with German labor laws and employment regulations (e.g., Kündigungsschutzgesetz) (experience)
  • Hands-on expertise in full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition (experience)
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS systems such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors (experience)
  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in HR or Organizational Development (experience)
  • Professional certifications such as PHRi, SHRM-CP, or German HR certifications (e.g., DHV) (experience)
  • International HR experience in a multinational corporation (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as trusted HR advisor to site leadership, handling employee relations, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, from job profiling and sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding
  • Design and deliver training programs and leadership development initiatives to enhance employee skills
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with local and global HR policies, conducting regular audits and risk assessments
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends and develop retention strategies, reducing turnover by actionable insights
  • Lead employee engagement activities, including surveys, town halls, and recognition programs
  • Support organizational change initiatives with communication plans and transition support
