Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive HSE programs, including risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action plans to ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and OSHA regulations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in conducting safety audits, environmental inspections, and emergency response drills, analyzing data to identify trends and recommend proactive improvements.
  • Train and mentor employees at all levels on HSE best practices, regulatory requirements, and Honeywell's safety protocols, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Collaborate with site leadership, engineering, and operations teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning, process design, and daily operations, minimizing environmental impact and occupational hazards.
  • Manage HSE reporting, KPIs, and documentation for regulatory submissions, internal audits, and executive reviews, utilizing digital tools for real-time tracking and analytics.
  • Investigate incidents, near-misses, and environmental spills, implementing root cause analysis (e.g., 5-Why, Fishbone) to prevent recurrence and enhance system resilience.
  • Stay abreast of evolving global HSE regulations and industry trends, advising senior management on compliance strategies and sustainability initiatives.

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in HSE supervision or management within manufacturing, industrial, or multinational environments (experience)
  • Proven track record of implementing HSE management systems and achieving compliance with international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001) (experience)
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits in high-risk operations (experience)
  • Strong knowledge of global HSE regulations including OSHA, EPA, REACH, and local equivalents (experience)
  • Ability to travel internationally (up to 30%) and work in hybrid model (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in HSE, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline (experience)
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH Diploma, CSP, CIH, or Six Sigma Green Belt (experience)
  • Experience in sustainability reporting and ESG initiatives within a Fortune 100 company (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead HSE training programs tailored to diverse workforces, ensuring 100% compliance and engagement
  • Conduct comprehensive site audits and environmental impact assessments, delivering actionable reports to reduce risks by 20% annually
  • Spearhead incident response and root cause analysis, implementing preventive measures to maintain zero lost-time incidents
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to embed HSE into new product launches and facility expansions
  • Develop and monitor key HSE metrics using data analytics tools, presenting insights to executive leadership
  • Drive sustainability projects, such as waste reduction and energy efficiency programs, aligning with Honeywell's carbon neutrality goals
  • Mentor junior HSE staff and foster a proactive safety culture across international sites
