Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC reporting requirements.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including account reconciliations, variance analysis, and accrual management for corporate entities.
- Manage technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), leases (ASC 842), business combinations, and complex derivatives.
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and support SOX 404 compliance.
- Collaborate with FP&A, tax, and business unit finance teams to provide accurate financial data for forecasting and strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in accounting practices.
- Drive process automation and optimization using ERP systems like SAP S/4HANA to enhance efficiency and scalability.

- 5+ years of leadership experience managing accounting teams (experience)
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance (experience)
- Experience with large-scale ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting or MBA (experience)
- Big 4 public accounting experience (experience)
- International accounting experience with IFRS exposure (experience)
Responsibilities
- Direct the corporate accounting close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for a $40B+ revenue enterprise
- Evaluate and implement technical accounting positions, including complex revenue contracts and M&A integrations
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide insights to senior leadership on financial performance drivers
- Oversee internal and external audit coordination, resolving findings and enhancing control environments
- Lead process improvements and digital transformation initiatives to streamline accounting operations
- Mentor direct reports and build talent pipelines for future finance leadership roles
- Partner cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives like capital markets transactions and ESG reporting
