Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Honeywell's advanced control systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment at client sites.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on electromechanical systems, safety instrumented systems (SIS), and distributed control systems (DCS) to ensure optimal performance.
- Support field service operations by preparing technical documentation, service reports, and spare parts recommendations.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to conduct root cause analysis for system failures and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
- Participate in customer site visits, system upgrades, and training sessions to enhance client satisfaction and operational reliability.
- Utilize Honeywell's proprietary software tools for data analysis, predictive maintenance, and performance optimization.

- Basic understanding of industrial automation, control systems, or instrumentation (experience)
- Strong academic record (minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 or equivalent) (experience)
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written); Arabic fluency preferred (experience)
- Availability for 6-12 month internship with hybrid schedule (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or co-op experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing sectors (experience)
- Familiarity with Honeywell Experion PKS, Safety Manager, or similar DCS/SIS platforms (experience)
- ISA or equivalent certifications in instrumentation and control (experience)
Responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment and commissioning of Honeywell control systems and field instruments at customer facilities in Dhahran and surrounding areas
- Conduct routine inspections, calibration, and testing of safety and process control equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards like API and IEC
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in real-time during service calls, documenting findings and resolutions in Honeywell's service management system
- Support the preparation of as-built drawings, loop diagrams, and maintenance procedures using AutoCAD or similar tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, project management, and R&D to deliver high-quality service outcomes
- Analyze system performance data using Honeywell's Uniformance PHD to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and customer training sessions to promote best practices
