Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctioning Honeywell equipment using diagnostic tools, schematics, and test equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and inspection of systems such as fire detection panels, building automation controls, and industrial sensors.
  • Install and upgrade hardware components, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and local safety regulations.
  • Document all service activities, including repair logs, parts usage, and customer reports, using Honeywell's digital service management systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and sales representatives, to resolve complex technical issues and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct on-site training for customer personnel on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting procedures.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, including lockout/tagout procedures and PPE usage.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals (experience)
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel internationally (up to 50%) (experience)
  • Basic computer literacy including MS Office and service management software (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Honeywell or OEM-specific certifications (e.g., NOTIFIER Fire Systems, Honeywell Building Controls) (experience)
  • Experience in HVAC, fire safety, or process control systems (experience)
  • Fluency in English and one additional language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical faults in Honeywell products using specialized test equipment
  • Execute scheduled maintenance and calibration to ensure equipment meets performance standards and regulatory compliance
  • Replace defective components and reassemble systems, verifying functionality through rigorous testing protocols
  • Generate detailed service reports and update inventory records in real-time via mobile applications
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users, enhancing their operational efficiency
  • Identify and recommend product improvements or upgrades based on field observations
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA-equivalent standards and Honeywell safety protocols
