Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex faults in electromechanical systems, sensors, and control units using advanced diagnostic tools and Honeywell proprietary software.
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble industrial equipment including turbines, valves, actuators, and avionics components to OEM specifications.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, calibration, and performance testing on repaired units to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Document all service activities, generate detailed repair reports, and update customer service records in Honeywell's ERP systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify recurring issues and recommend design improvements for enhanced reliability.
  • Train junior technicians and provide on-site support to customers in international locations, adhering to local regulations and Honeywell protocols.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring efficient workflow in fast-paced repair facilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in reading technical schematics, blueprints, and troubleshooting electromechanical systems (experience)
  • Experience with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and CMMs (experience)
  • Ability to obtain relevant security clearances for international work sites (experience)
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally up to 50% (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline (experience)
  • Certifications such as FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P), ASNT Level II, or Honeywell-specific training (experience)
  • Experience in repair of aerospace components or building automation systems (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth diagnostics on failed equipment using Honeywell's advanced testing rigs and software to identify root causes
  • Execute precision repairs on sensors, actuators, and control modules, ensuring 100% compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards
  • Conduct functional testing and environmental stress screening post-repair to validate performance under operational conditions
  • Liaise with suppliers for specialized parts and coordinate logistics for international shipments
  • Mentor entry-level technicians on best practices and safety protocols during high-volume repair operations
  • Generate and analyze failure data trends to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure all work complies with local health, safety, and environmental regulations across multiple countries
