Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HLK systems including heating boilers, ventilation units, chillers, and air handling systems to minimize downtime.
- Perform on-site inspections, diagnostics, and commissioning of complex HLK installations using diagnostic tools and software.
- Install and integrate smart building controls, sensors, and Honeywell's Niagara-based building management systems (BMS).
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality service while adhering to safety standards and regulations.
- Document service activities, generate reports, and recommend energy-efficient upgrades to optimize system performance.
- Train end-users and maintenance staff on HLK system operations and Honeywell technologies.
- Respond to emergency service calls, ensuring rapid resolution and high customer satisfaction.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in servicing and maintaining HLK systems in commercial or industrial buildings (experience)
- Valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel internationally (experience)
- Fluency in German and good English skills (experience)
- Knowledge of Austrian/EU safety regulations (e.g., TRVL, ÖNORM standards) for HLK installations (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in refrigeration technology (Kälteanlagen) or building automation (Gebäudetechnik) (experience)
- Experience with Honeywell building management systems or similar BMS platforms (experience)
- Master craftsman qualification (Meisterbrief) in HLK technology (experience)
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults in heating systems, ventilation units, and climate control equipment using specialized tools and test instruments
- Carry out regular maintenance and calibration of HLK components to ensure compliance with energy efficiency standards
- Install, configure, and program control systems for optimized building automation and energy management
- Conduct risk assessments and safety checks prior to service interventions on live systems
- Prepare detailed service reports, spare parts lists, and recommendations for system upgrades
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support large-scale HLK projects and retrofits
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical system failures, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
