Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 8-12 software engineers, conducting performance reviews, career development planning, and talent acquisition to build a world-class engineering team.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for complex projects, from requirements gathering and architecture design to deployment and maintenance, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.
- Drive technical strategy and innovation by defining roadmaps, evaluating emerging technologies like cloud-native architectures and AI/ML integrations, and aligning them with business objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, QA teams, DevOps, and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and deliver scalable, reliable software solutions.
- Implement and champion engineering best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, automated testing, and security protocols to maintain superior code quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor project metrics, identify risks, and proactively mitigate issues to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as velocity, defect rates, and customer satisfaction.

- Experience in the aerospace, industrial automation, or IoT domains is highly desirable (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PMP, or Scrum Master (experience)
- Experience managing distributed teams in a hybrid or global setup (experience)
Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and develop top-tier software engineering talent while managing team performance and growth
- Define and execute technical roadmaps for software products, ensuring alignment with Honeywell's strategic goals
- Architect scalable, high-performance software solutions using languages like Java, C++, Python, and frameworks such as Spring Boot or React
