Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 8-12 software engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Define technical roadmaps, architecture designs, and development strategies aligned with business objectives and Honeywell's innovation goals.
- Oversee end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring on-time delivery with high quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, QA, DevOps, and global stakeholders to integrate software solutions seamlessly.
- Drive agile practices, conduct code reviews, and implement best practices for scalability, security, and performance optimization.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, while championing emerging technologies like cloud-native applications and AI/ML integration.
- Report on team performance, project metrics, and innovation initiatives to senior leadership.

- Hands-on expertise in agile methodologies and DevOps practices (experience)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PMP, or Scrum Master (experience)
- Experience in aerospace, IoT, or industrial automation domains (experience)
Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor software engineers to build and maintain a high-performing team
- Architect and guide the development of robust, scalable software solutions using cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Implement and enforce coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
- Collaborate with product owners to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories
- Monitor project progress, resolve blockers, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Champion innovation by exploring AI/ML, edge computing, and cybersecurity integrations
- Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and drive career development for team members
