Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and hardware engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Implement unit, integration, and system-level testing to ensure robust, reliable code deployment.
  • Optimize software performance for real-time systems in aerospace and industrial IoT environments.
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews to uphold best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and contribute to proof-of-concept prototypes.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably in aerospace, industrial automation, or IoT domains (experience)
  • Proven track record of delivering production-ready software using C++, Java, or Python (experience)
  • Experience with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines (experience)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to handle complex, real-time systems (experience)
  • U.S. citizenship or ability to obtain security clearance due to ITAR/EAR requirements (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer or Certified ScrumMaster (experience)
  • Experience with embedded systems, RTOS, or safety-critical software (DO-178C) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement microservices-based applications deployed on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
  • Develop and integrate APIs for seamless data exchange between software and hardware components
  • Perform code optimization and debugging for high-performance, low-latency applications
  • Lead design reviews and contribute to technical documentation and specifications
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to automate testing frameworks and ensure 99.9% uptime
  • Evaluate and integrate third-party libraries and tools to enhance system capabilities
  • Support deployment and monitoring of applications using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
