Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications using modern frameworks and cloud-native technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and hardware engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, implement best practices for code quality, security, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in production environments, optimizing performance and reliability.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead small projects to foster team growth and innovation.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend improvements to engineering processes.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on full-stack or backend systems (experience)
  • Proven experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies including Agile and DevOps practices (experience)
  • Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or C++ (experience)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes (experience)
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions in a team environment (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
  • AWS Certified Developer or equivalent cloud certification (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace, IoT, or industrial software applications (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement robust, scalable software solutions for Honeywell's connected products and platforms
  • Develop and optimize APIs, microservices, and real-time data processing systems using industry-standard tools
  • Lead debugging and performance tuning efforts to ensure 99.9%+ uptime in mission-critical applications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories
  • Integrate machine learning models and IoT data streams into enterprise software ecosystems
  • Drive code quality through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and adherence to security standards
  • Document technical designs and mentor team members on best practices and emerging technologies
