Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks to support Honeywell's aerospace and industrial systems.

- Maintain and optimize existing software codebase, ensuring high performance, reliability, and adherence to coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to deliver high-quality software deliverables on time.

- Document technical specifications, APIs, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.

- Develop and maintain software modules for Honeywell's industrial control systems and aerospace applications using C++, Java, and Python
- Implement unit tests and integration tests to ensure software reliability and performance in mission-critical environments
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with sensors, actuators, and embedded platforms
- Analyze system requirements and design scalable architectures compliant with industry standards like DO-178C for avionics
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in an Agile framework
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, optimizing code for efficiency and security
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge transfer within the engineering team
