Key Responsibilities

  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies including Agile and DevOps (experience)
  • Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through complex technical projects (experience)
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with excellent communication skills (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, ISTQB, or Honeywell-specific training (experience)
  • Experience with embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), or cloud platforms like AWS/Azure (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust software modules for mission-critical applications using C++, Java, and Python
  • Lead the implementation of scalable microservices architectures and RESTful APIs
  • Perform comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and performance testing using tools like JUnit or pytest
  • Optimize software for performance in resource-constrained environments, such as edge computing devices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware sensors and control systems
  • Document technical designs, APIs, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, applying root cause analysis for continuous improvement
