  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile practices (experience)
  • Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines (experience)
  • Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for sensitive projects (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, ISTQB, or Honeywell-specific training (experience)
  • Experience with embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), or cloud platforms like AWS/Azure (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect software modules for scalable, high-performance applications in aerospace and industrial systems
  • Develop and integrate APIs, microservices, and IoT protocols to enable seamless device connectivity
  • Lead debugging efforts and performance tuning for mission-critical software deployed in safety-regulated environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliverables
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct thorough code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices
  • Implement automated testing frameworks and support continuous integration/deployment processes
  • Document software designs, contribute to technical reports, and ensure compliance with industry standards like DO-178C
