Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust, scalable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks, ensuring adherence to best practices in software architecture and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and implement features that meet business objectives.
  • Perform code reviews, debugging, and optimization to enhance application performance, reliability, and security.
  • Integrate software components with hardware systems, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and IoT devices, supporting Honeywell's connected ecosystem.
  • Lead small project teams or modules, mentoring junior engineers and ensuring timely delivery within agile sprints.
  • Conduct thorough testing, including unit, integration, and system-level tests, to maintain high-quality deliverables.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, such as CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Summary

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams (experience)
  • Eligibility to work in India without sponsorship (experience)

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Azure Developer, or ISTQB (experience)
  • Experience in IoT, embedded systems, or industrial software applications (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement scalable software solutions using Java, C++, Python, or .NET frameworks
  • Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and database schemas (SQL/NoSQL) for enterprise applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs and deliverables
  • Lead code reviews, refactoring efforts, and performance tuning to ensure production-ready code
  • Integrate applications with Honeywell's cloud platforms and IoT ecosystems for real-time data processing
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Document technical designs, troubleshoot issues, and support deployment in hybrid cloud environments
