Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA teams to define technical requirements and implement scalable solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, optimize algorithms, and troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.
- Integrate software with Honeywell's IoT platforms, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and embedded systems for real-time data processing.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., DO-178C for aerospace) and Honeywell's security protocols.
- Participate in innovation initiatives, prototyping new features using AI/ML technologies.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies (experience)
- Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines (experience)
- Ability to obtain relevant security clearances if required for projects (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer Associate, or ISTQB (experience)
- Experience with Honeywell products or similar industrial software platforms (experience)
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices-based applications using Java, Python, or C++ for Honeywell's connected systems
- Develop and optimize APIs for integration with IoT devices and enterprise systems
- Perform unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure software reliability
- Lead debugging and resolution of critical production issues with minimal downtime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs
- Contribute to technical documentation, including design specs and API guides
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovations to enhance product roadmaps
