  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and version control systems like Git (experience)
  • Experience with embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) (experience)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, hybrid team environment (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, ISTQB, or Honeywell-specific training (experience)
  • Experience with Honeywell products or avionics software development (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust software architectures for embedded and cloud-based applications
  • Develop and optimize real-time control systems and data analytics pipelines
  • Lead debugging efforts and performance tuning for mission-critical software
  • Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate firmware with application layers
  • Conduct thorough unit, integration, and system testing using tools like JUnit or pytest
  • Document technical specifications, APIs, and deployment procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement through code refactoring and adoption of DevOps practices
