Sr Account Manager – Process Control System Solutions

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account strategies to identify growth opportunities, upsell advanced process control systems, and achieve annual revenue targets exceeding $10M per key account.
  • Cultivate deep relationships with C-suite executives and technical stakeholders, acting as the trusted advisor on Honeywell's Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), and Advanced Process Control (APC) solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including sales engineers, product specialists, and service delivery experts to deliver customized proposals and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Mentor and coach junior account managers, fostering a high-performance culture through regular performance reviews, skill development programs, and knowledge sharing.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches and contribute to product roadmap enhancements.
  • Negotiate complex contracts, manage commercial terms, and mitigate risks to secure long-term partnerships and recurring service revenue streams.
  • Track key performance metrics using CRM tools like Salesforce, reporting on pipeline health, win rates, and customer satisfaction to senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated success in international markets with cross-cultural team leadership (experience)
  • Proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce or similar (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) (experience)
  • Certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Honeywell-specific process control training (experience)
  • 10+ years in oil & gas, chemicals, or power sectors with multilingual capabilities (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic account planning and growth initiatives to exceed revenue targets by identifying expansion opportunities in process optimization solutions
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships, conducting quarterly business reviews to align Honeywell offerings with customer digital transformation goals
  • Lead solution demonstrations and proof-of-concept projects for advanced control systems, collaborating with technical teams to customize proposals
  • Mentor a team of 4-6 account managers, providing coaching on sales techniques, negotiation strategies, and industry best practices
  • Monitor account health through KPIs, forecasting revenue pipelines, and mitigating risks via proactive issue resolution
  • Negotiate multi-year contracts and service agreements, ensuring compliance with international regulations and maximizing profitability
  • Contribute to market intelligence by analyzing competitor landscapes and customer needs to influence product development
