In this pivotal role, you will manage all aspects of customer engagements, from nurturing existing relationships to securing new business. Reporting to the Sales Director for Process Solutions, you will drive revenue growth by deeply understanding customer challenges in pulp production, paper manufacturing, and sustainability goals, then aligning them with Honeywell's cutting-edge portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for key Pulp and Paper customers, identifying opportunities for process optimization and digital transformation.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customer stakeholders, including plant managers, procurement leads, and C-suite executives.
  • Lead the full sales cycle, from needs assessment and solution proposal to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and service delivery, to deliver tailored process solutions.
  • Conduct market analysis to forecast trends in Pulp and Paper, positioning Honeywell as the preferred partner for energy efficiency and emission reduction.
  • Manage sales pipelines using CRM tools like Salesforce, achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Provide post-sale support, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying upsell opportunities for Honeywell's Experion PKS platform and related services.

  • Deep knowledge of pulp and paper manufacturing processes, including pulping, bleaching, and papermaking (experience)
  • Experience with process control systems such as DCS, PLC, or SCADA (experience)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or MBA (experience)
  • Certifications in process automation (e.g., ISA CAP, TUV Functional Safety) (experience)
  • 10+ years in B2B sales within industrial manufacturing, with Pulp and Paper focus (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and acquire new Pulp and Paper accounts by identifying pain points in production efficiency and sustainability
  • Conduct technical consultations and demonstrations of Honeywell solutions like Experion PKS and Profit Controller APC
  • Negotiate complex contracts, including SaaS models for digital solutions and long-term service agreements
  • Analyze customer data to recommend customized process optimization strategies that reduce costs and emissions
  • Partner with Honeywell's technical experts to develop proposals and support solution implementation
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business unit goals
  • Foster customer loyalty through regular business reviews and value realization assessments
