Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct complex reconciliations of general ledger accounts, sub-ledgers, and intercompany transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, SOX, and other regulatory requirements through rigorous internal controls and audit support.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast budgets, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for business leaders.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and executive teams to provide actionable insights and recommendations for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Lead process improvements in accounting operations, leveraging ERP systems like SAP to enhance efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
- Mentor junior accountants and participate in special projects, such as mergers & acquisitions due diligence or system implementations.

- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification or equivalent (active status preferred) (experience)
- Proven experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes (experience)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal controls (experience)
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Hyperion (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or MBA (experience)
- Big 4 public accounting experience or industry equivalent (experience)
- Advanced certifications such as CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) (experience)
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Perform detailed account reconciliations, variance analysis, and journal entries to maintain ledger integrity
- Support external and internal audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and implementing recommendations
- Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and scenario analyses to support strategic business decisions
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations and enhance reporting accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for project evaluations and cost management
- Mentor and train junior staff while contributing to ad-hoc projects like system upgrades or M&A activities
