Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Conduct complex reconciliations of general ledger accounts, sub-ledgers, and intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls, internal policies, and regulatory requirements through rigorous documentation and audit support.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast budgets, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for business leaders.
- Collaborate with FP&A, tax, and operations teams to provide insights on cost optimization, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis.
- Lead process improvements in accounting systems, leveraging ERP tools like SAP to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
- Mentor junior accountants and participate in special projects, such as acquisitions, divestitures, or system implementations.

- Proven experience with GAAP/IFRS compliance and SOX 404 controls (experience)
- Hands-on expertise with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle (experience)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to manage large datasets and financial modeling (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting or MBA (experience)
- Big 4 public accounting experience (experience)
- Experience in multinational consolidations or transfer pricing (experience)
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Perform variance analysis and provide detailed explanations to senior leadership for budgeting and forecasting
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and deferred revenue calculations
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations and reduce cycle times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting, cost analysis, and strategic initiatives
- Mentor and train junior staff on accounting best practices and system usage
