Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections to optimize cash flow.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
- Identify and implement process improvements using automation tools and best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and internal controls, including GST, TDS, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and procurement teams to resolve discrepancies and support business initiatives.
- Support period-end close activities, intercompany reconciliations, and fixed asset management.

- Proven experience in financial reporting and regulatory compliance in an Indian corporate environment (experience)
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle Financials, or similar (experience)
- Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, IFRS, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements (experience)
- CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent certification (or in progress) (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or MBA with finance specialization (experience)
- Big 4 audit firm experience or multinational corporate exposure (experience)
- Advanced certifications like ACCA or CIMA (experience)
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable processes, including vendor invoice verification, approval workflows, and timely payments to maintain strong supplier relationships
- Handle accounts receivable operations, from billing to collections, monitoring aging reports and reducing DSO through proactive follow-ups
- Maintain general ledger integrity by performing reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end adjustments
- Prepare accurate financial reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for management review
- Drive process automation and improvements using tools like Excel macros, RPA, or ERP enhancements to streamline operations
- Ensure 100% compliance with regulatory filings, internal audits, and SOX controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial analysis
