Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer collections to optimize cash flow.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
- Identify and implement process improvements using automation tools and best practices to streamline operations and reduce cycle times.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, internal controls, SOX requirements, and conduct internal audits as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, and operations, to support business initiatives and budgeting processes.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development initiatives.

- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle Financials (experience)
- In-depth knowledge of Indian GAAP, IFRS, GST, and TDS compliance (experience)
- CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent certification (experience)
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and internal controls (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or MBA (experience)
- Big 4 audit firm experience or multinational corporate exposure (experience)
- Advanced certifications like CPA (US) or CIMA (experience)
Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle accounts payable and receivable operations, including reconciliation, dispute resolution, and payment processing to ensure timely and accurate transactions
- Maintain general ledger integrity through daily postings, reconciliations, and month-end close activities
- Prepare accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow analyses for management review
- Drive process automation and optimization initiatives using tools like Excel macros, RPA, or ERP enhancements to improve efficiency
- Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and support external audits while adhering to SOX and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with business units to provide financial insights, support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff to build team capabilities
