Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate consolidation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Perform detailed variance analysis, identify discrepancies, and provide root-cause explanations to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure adherence to SOX, GST, and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with business units, FP&A, and external auditors to resolve complex accounting issues and streamline reporting workflows.
- Drive process automation initiatives using ERP systems like SAP to enhance efficiency and reduce close cycle times.
- Prepare management reports, KPIs, and ad-hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and business performance reviews.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to controllership policy updates in response to evolving business needs.

- Professional certification such as CA, CPA, CMA, or ICWA (experience)
- Proven track record in managing financial close cycles and ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP and SOX (experience)
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle Financials (experience)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to handle large datasets and complex financial models (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, MBA, or equivalent (experience)
- Experience in manufacturing or aerospace industry controllership (experience)
- Advanced certifications in data analytics or automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx) (experience)
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end financial close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany eliminations to meet deadlines
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and forecasting to provide insights for business leaders
- Design, document, and test internal controls to ensure compliance with global standards and mitigate risks
- Automate reporting processes using advanced Excel, VBA, or BI tools to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Partner with audit teams and resolve findings from internal/external audits promptly
- Develop and deliver financial presentations and reports for executive management
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce close cycle time by at least 20%
