Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement advanced embedded software for real-time systems using C/C++ on ARM, PowerPC, or microcontroller platforms.
  • Develop and debug low-level drivers, firmware, and RTOS-based applications (e.g., FreeRTOS, VxWorks).
  • Perform hardware-software integration, including board bring-up, peripheral interfacing (I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet), and power optimization.
  • Lead design reviews, unit testing, and validation using tools like JTAG debuggers, oscilloscopes, and static analysis.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers, systems architects, and product managers to ensure compliance with safety standards (DO-178C, MISRA).
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to agile development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and embedded Linux customization.
  • Investigate and resolve complex field issues, enhancing system reliability and performance.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in embedded software development for industrial or aerospace applications (experience)
  • Proven expertise in real-time embedded systems using C/C++ and RTOS (experience)
  • Experience with hardware debugging tools and protocol analyzers (experience)
  • Strong understanding of embedded Linux, device drivers, and safety-critical standards (experience)
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with excellent English communication skills (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Embedded Systems or Computer Science (experience)
  • Certifications in RTOS (e.g., VxWorks) or functional safety (e.g., ISO 26262) (experience)
  • Experience with aerospace protocols (ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553) or IoT frameworks (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop embedded firmware for microcontrollers and SoCs, ensuring scalability and performance
  • Lead integration and testing of embedded systems with hardware prototypes and simulation environments
  • Optimize code for low-power, real-time constraints, and resource-limited platforms
  • Conduct code reviews, static analysis, and unit/integration testing using tools like VectorCAST or LDRA
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and interfaces
  • Troubleshoot and resolve embedded system issues in lab and field deployments
  • Document designs, APIs, and test procedures for compliance and knowledge transfer
