Sr Advanced Project Engineer - Verification & Validation

We are seeking a Sr Advanced Project Engineer for our Verification & Validation (V&V) team in India. This on-site role, based in our state-of-the-art facility, is pivotal in driving the success of complex aerospace and industrial programs. You will lead estimation, manage dependencies, define milestones, and oversee program execution, ensuring seamless delivery of high-reliability systems that meet rigorous industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of comprehensive project estimates, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk assessments for V&V activities across multi-phase programs.
- Identify, track, and resolve cross-functional dependencies to ensure alignment between engineering, testing, and certification teams.
- Define and monitor critical milestones, utilizing tools like MS Project or Jira to maintain schedule integrity and mitigate delays.
- Drive end-to-end program execution, from requirements traceability through validation testing, ensuring compliance with DO-178C, DO-254, and ARP4754A standards.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to conduct design reviews, test planning, and anomaly resolution for embedded software and hardware systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement in V&V processes.
- Generate detailed reports and presentations for leadership on project status, risks, and achievements.

- Proven track record in program management, estimation, and milestone tracking in complex engineering projects (experience)
- Experience with avionics certification standards such as DO-178C, DO-254, or ARP4754A (experience)
- Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements management and traceability (experience)
- Ability to work on-site in India with excellent communication skills for cross-functional and international teams (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or Project Management (experience)
- PMP or equivalent project management certification (experience)
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like Cameo or DOORS NextGen (experience)
Responsibilities
- Develop accurate project estimates encompassing scope, effort, cost, and risk for V&V phases
- Map and manage inter-team dependencies to prevent bottlenecks and ensure timely deliverables
- Establish and track program milestones using agile and waterfall methodologies
- Execute V&V activities including test planning, execution, and reporting for software/hardware integration
- Lead root cause analysis and resolution of verification discrepancies and non-conformances
- Coordinate with suppliers and certification authorities to achieve compliance and airworthiness
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams for process optimization
