Key Responsibilities
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation using advanced methodologies like 8D, PFMEA, and Six Sigma DMAIC to resolve complex quality issues in aerospace components.
- Conduct comprehensive internal and supplier audits, developing audit plans and ensuring adherence to ISO 9001, AS9100, and NADCAP standards.
- Design and deploy statistical process control (SPC) systems and quality metrics dashboards to monitor production quality and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to integrate quality requirements into product development lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead quality training programs to build organizational capability in advanced quality practices.
- Interface with customers and regulatory bodies to support qualification testing, certification processes, and non-conformance investigations.

- Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, PFMEA) (experience)
- Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and Six Sigma methodologies (experience)
- U.S. citizenship or ability to obtain security clearance required (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or Quality Management (experience)
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt certification (experience)
- Experience with FAA regulations and aerospace supplier quality management (experience)
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and develop quality control plans for new product introductions
- Lead supplier quality audits and develop improvement plans to ensure first-time quality
- Investigate and resolve complex non-conformances using structured problem-solving tools
- Implement lean six sigma projects to reduce defects and improve process capability
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including control plans, FMEAs, and inspection procedures
- Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure design for manufacturability and quality from concept stage
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report quality metrics to senior leadership
