  • Lead the design, modeling, and prototyping of advanced aerospace components using CAD, CFD, and FEA tools.

  • Expertise in aerospace simulation tools such as ANSYS, MATLAB/Simulink, or STAR-CCM+ (experience)
  • Experience with aerospace standards (e.g., DO-178C, ARP4754A) and certification processes (experience)
  • U.S. Person status (citizen or permanent resident) due to ITAR requirements (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline (experience)
  • Patents or publications in aerospace R&D (experience)
  • Experience with sustainable aviation technologies or electric/hybrid propulsion systems (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary research teams to develop and validate novel aerospace technologies for improved safety and efficiency
  • Perform advanced simulations, data analysis, and predictive modeling to innovate propulsion and avionics systems
  • Design and execute laboratory and flight tests to verify performance of R&D prototypes
  • Collaborate with product engineering, manufacturing, and external partners to transition technologies to production
  • Identify emerging trends in aerospace R&D and recommend strategic investments
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including whitepapers, patents, and regulatory submissions
  • Mentor and develop early-career engineers while fostering a culture of innovation
