Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced software systems for embedded and real-time applications in aerospace and industrial automation.
- Mentor and guide a team of 5-10 software engineers, conducting code reviews, fostering best practices, and driving continuous improvement in code quality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, reliable software architectures using modern methodologies like Agile and DevOps.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, optimizing software for performance, security, and maintainability in mission-critical environments.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time delivery of high-impact solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and integrate innovative tools to enhance Honeywell's software engineering capabilities.

- Strong experience in embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), or industrial software applications (experience)
- Hands-on expertise in full software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), AWS Certified Developer, or ISTQB (experience)
- Experience in aerospace, avionics, or IoT software development (experience)
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust software solutions for embedded systems and cloud-integrated applications using C++, Python, and Java
- Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior engineers to elevate team performance
- Collaborate with product, hardware, and QA teams to define requirements and integrate software with hardware components
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Docker for efficient deployments
- Conduct performance tuning, debugging, and security assessments to ensure software reliability in safety-critical environments
- Drive innovation by prototyping new technologies and contributing to Honeywell's patent portfolio
