Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement scalable software solutions using modern frameworks for embedded systems, IoT, and AI/ML integrations.
- Lead end-to-end development cycles, from requirements gathering to deployment and optimization in hybrid cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, product managers, and data scientists to integrate software with Honeywell's hardware platforms.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and implement CI/CD pipelines for high-reliability software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in real-time systems, optimizing performance for safety-critical applications.
- Drive innovation by prototyping emerging technologies like edge computing and digital twins to enhance product capabilities.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.

- Proven track record of delivering production-grade software using C++, Java, or Python (experience)
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS), embedded software, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) (experience)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to handle ambiguous requirements (experience)
- Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
- Certifications in AWS Certified Developer, ISTQB, or similar (experience)
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) or safety-critical software (DO-178C) (experience)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance software architectures for embedded and distributed systems
- Lead technical design reviews and ensure software meets safety, security, and performance standards
- Integrate software components with hardware peripherals and sensors for IoT applications
- Implement automated testing frameworks and perform unit, integration, and system-level testing
- Optimize algorithms for real-time data processing and edge computing scenarios
- Collaborate with global teams to define APIs and microservices for scalable platforms
- Document designs, contribute to patents, and support product certification processes
